Fire Prevention

Fire Prevention- cover guard® is an integrated range of flame retardant products used to protect vertical and horizontal surfaces, and to wrap objects during construction, work activity, transportation and storage. It is extensively used in the construction industry, both marine and land based, during new build, refurbishment, refitting and maintenance.

cover guard® was introduced by Bainbridge International following extensive research and development in collaboration with a large number of internationally recognised and approved bodies for the prevention of fire. This included consultation with many marine and naval based organisations within the industry. The result is a market leading product that is safe, flame retardant and easy to use with a cost that makes commercial sense.

Traditionally hardboard, cardboard, paper and polythene sheeting has been used for this application. Compared to these products, cover guard® provides improved safety, protection and cost benefits.

Whatever your protection requirement, cover guard® aims to provide the complete solution.

Cover Guard | Flame Retardant | Fire Prevention | Temporary Protection Systems | Protective Materials | Marine & Construction Industries | New Build | Refurbishment | Refitting Maintenance

All cover guard® products are inheritantly flame retardant.

Throughout all industrial sectors the risk of fire and subsequent cost in both human and economic terms is an issue that has become a high priority.Increasingly organisations are considering not only the FR properties of construction materials and fixtures, but also those consumable items such as temporary protection used during work activity.

In response to this need a decision was made during the development process that all
cover guard® products would be flame retardant and be tested and approved by recognised international bodies.

cover guard® reduces the risk imposed by non flame retardant temporary protection applied horizontally and vertically during work and, during a fire situation it will not combust.
